as a licensed cosmetologist....a comb on dry hair is not really a good choice. Water, heavy conditioner, wet/dry brush and repeat. When I say water, I talking about water in the shower running over the tangle as you brush.

Didnt work I use my strategy of water and shampoo dyer is your friend than take small side of a comb like with plastic part zip in drag some hair put piece by piece do it over the day not all at once will begun to fall apart unfortunately I had to cut the biggest part and did manage to save my hair and didnt have a huge hole you have to have patience with thick hair in layers because you can mess up your hair bad than I later that night let it dry than straighten it came out amazing:) i put my hair in a ponytail sometimes Ive noticed that if you go the same way all the time with tying it together and than another go another will eventually come out like this with a big knock luckily I manage to get the gordan knot 🪢 out 😂

Im also a teenager with this problem in 2024...also my hair was like a whole tangled like a bun.... It wasnt funny I always was hiding it from anyone bcs it looked ugly. But yesterday my mom decided to wash hair finally and get this out of me! She used a regenerator Pantene thanks for Pantene sooo much it helped that sh#t get out,so after that bcs I live with my mom and dad we have grandma and granpa my dads part family (my granny) she tried to climb that of with my brushes i take with me and It took her an 1 hour Im also glad to my nana, and now she didnt take all part I still have that little weirdo on my head but Im scared when I go to barber should they cut it.... Idk just what if my hair well be bald 😢I just hope it will be all good just that little thing to get out.
